New Life Baptist Church (NLBC) in Lacey was established in 1975 when there were only 584 Black people in all of Thurston County. We are the oldest and largest predominately Black congregation in Southwest Washington.

The Mission of New Life Baptist Church is to create a community of authentic believers in the gospel and to make disciples by teaching the doctrines of Christ, as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
