About Alzheimer's Association

The Alzheimer's Association is dedicated to providing culturally responsive education, support, and resources for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. We work to reduce disparities in diagnosis, care, and access to services by offering community-based programs, caregiver support groups, and outreach tailored to the unique needs, values, and experiences of diverse communities.

Through trusted partnerships, advocacy, and inclusive programming, we empower individuals and families with knowledge, connection, and support throughout every stage of the dementia journey. Our goal is to ensure that all communities have equitable access to care, early detection, and life-enhancing resources while honoring cultural perspectives and strengthening community resilience.
